How to Consign with Wanderlust Handmade & Consignment

📌 Important Reminders
No appointment required – just bring your items by during store hours.
One-time contract – you’ll only need to sign once.
Intake drop-off: bring up to 50 items per drop-off.
No hangers needed – please place items neatly in a disposable bag or box.
Anything not accepted will be automatically donated.

✅ What We Accept
Women’s clothing only – current style and in season
Freshly laundered or dry-cleaned
Neatly folded into: tall kitchen bags, Walmart/Target bags, reusable bags, or small boxes
Shoes (shoe boxes will be discarded)
Jewelry in individual Ziploc bags (to prevent tangling)
⚠️ Bags/boxes and hangers are not returned. If items arrive on hangers, hangers will be discarded.
❌ What We Cannot Accept
Condition Issues
Stains (including deodorant marks)
Missing buttons, broken zippers, damaged hardware
Holes, tears, rips, or dry rot
Pilling, fading, excessive wear
Peeling/cracking fabrics
Excessive wrinkles (normal bag wrinkles are fine)
Strong odors (smoke, must, mildew, perfume, etc.)
Pet hair/fur or animal damage
Bodily fluids or hygiene concerns
Category Restrictions
Out-of-season items (No Summer or Spring Items). Only accepting Halloween & Thanksgiving motifs. No Christmas yet!
Formal gowns, prom dresses, business suits
Personalized/monogrammed items (initials, embroidery, etc.)
Items with missing size information (no tag/marking)
Undergarments: bras, panties, or other intimate apparel
🏷️ Drop-Off Process
Items are tagged with your name, date, and number of bags/boxes
We note whether remaining items will be donated or picked up at contract end
Accepted items are entered into inventory quickly
Any unaccepted items are donated immediately
📑 Consignment Options
We offer two types of contracts so you can choose what works best for you:
Return Option – Pick up your unsold items at the end of your contract period.
Donate Option – Allow us to donate your unsold items to a local charity of our choice.
